Hello class,

Lesson 21- YouTube

In Class Lecture

1. How has youtube contributed to television? (It’s free advertising! How is it more effective than an old fashion commercial?) It has made shows like Late Night With Jimmy Fallon more popular, which means more money for the show. 2.       It makes people famous: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k3-NU8H9cfA Justin Beiber Story (5 Min) His fans made him famous! Watch only first minute and a half to get the point. Can you give other examples of people being “discovered” from youtube?

3.       It imports culture from all over the world in a way NEVER done before.
