Hello class,
I want you to know it has been a pure joy and honor to teach this class this year. I learned so much from each of you and your input to the class. I hope you all got something out of this class too.

Mrs. Belshay
One of my favorite topics this year was the Commercial segment. We had fun with those, looking at different types of commercials and ads and what they were, represented, and put forth. I also liked the day we had the guest speaker and we painted with the Holy Spirit, that was incredible. Another thing I really enjoyed was the day we had our Skype video conference with some of the guys from Humble Beast and ask them questions, that was so cool!
ReplyDeleteOne thing I think I got most out of was, even though I still don't like the Simpsons, the TV show segment. I learned that even if we may not like a TV show, that doesn't mean we cant still analyze it and pick out truths from it. But overall I learned a lot from all our topics and enjoyed it very much!

My favorite thing we did were all the critiques. I liked that it was a different kind of thing for everybody, and everybody had different opinions on different topics. I also really liked when we did the whole thing on Humble Beast, they were really cool to learn about and talk about. And even though I didn't talk very much in class, I still really enjoyed listening to everyone else. - Ariel
ReplyDeleteMy favorite were the commercial/advertising lessons. Learning about the ways advertisers try to target groups was both interesting and helpful to me. I also enjoyed learning about the multitude of different worldviews. Interviewing some of the people at Humble Beast was great as well.
